In New Ad, Ossoff Hits Partisan Obstruction on COVID Relief, Sen. Perdue’s Prioritization of Own Stock Portfolio

Ossoff: “We can get our daily lives back, but only if we vote.”

Atlanta, Ga. — Today, investigative journalist and Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate Jon Ossoff released his latest ad, “Look,” directly addressing Georgia voters by calling out Sen. David Perdue’s (R-Ga.) resounding failure to deliver relief for Georgians as he leveraged his office to profit from the pandemic. Ossoff also lays out his plans to empower medical experts to beat the COVID-19 and jumpstart economic recovery.

With Georgia entering a new, dangerous wave of the COVID-19 crisis, Ossoff speaks to the stark reality many have been facing since the pandemic began, as Washington has failed to pass any economic relief since the early summer.

Ossoff also criticizes Perdue for profiting off the pandemic, while obstructing relief to small businesses and working families in Georgia.

Ossoff closes the ad by making clear the stakes of the January 5 runoff, saying “We can defeat this virus by listening to doctors and scientists. We can pass direct economic relief. We can get our daily lives back, but only if we vote.”

“We can defeat this virus by listening to doctors and scientists.

“We can pass direct economic relief.
