Jon Ossoff Confirms Three More Debate Appearances

Ossoff has now accepted six local, live debates, while Secretary Handel has accepted only one

SANDY SPRINGS, GA – Jon Ossoff, candidate for Congress in Georgia’s Sixth District race, today confirmed his appearance at three more debates between his opponent, former Secretary of State Karen Handel, and himself. Ossoff also reissued his challenge to Sec. Handel of six total live debates.

The three debates Ossoff accepted today are proposed by WABE, NAACP, and AARP.

Previously, Ossoff accepted debates hosted by CBS46 and WSB. Ossoff also confirmed he would appear at a debate hosted by the Dunwoody Homeowner’s Association, which Karen Handel has declined.

“Part of bringing fresh leadership and accountability to Washington is to openly and publicly debate the issues that matter most to Georgians, and I hope Secretary Handel accepts these debates,” said Ossoff.
