Mike Collins: “The elections in this state were stolen.”
Atlanta, Ga. — Ahead of the October 5th voter registration deadline in Georgia and less than 35 days out from Election Day, the Ossoff campaign is releasing a new video today shining a light on GOP U.S. Senate nominee Mike Collins’ repeated, debunked lies about the 2020 election.
The video comes just days after Mike Collins publicly backed the placing of federal troops at polling places, saying, “that’s fine with me.”
Collins, a Trump puppet, continues to do the President’s bidding, peddling 2020 election denial claims nearly six years after the claims were repeatedly debunked. Earlier this summer, Collins reiterated the claim that Donald Trump won Georgia in the 2020 Presidential election and was caught on video expressing support for the President’s insurrectionist slush fund, which would pay tax dollars to the violent criminals who assaulted police and ransacked the Capitol. Collins has previously called for mass pardons for insurrectionists while downplaying the January 6th insurrection as “a self-guided, albeit unauthorized, tour of the U.S. Capitol building” by “thousands of peaceful grandmothers.”
“While Georgians have been asking Mike Collins to answer for his extensive ties to white nationalists less than 35 days out from Election Day, Mike Collins has instead chosen to focus on promoting debunked election claims, proving once again that he is Donald Trump’s puppet,” said Ossoff Campaign Manager Ellen Foster.
