Atlanta, Ga. — Today, investigative journalist and Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Jon Ossoff and Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Reverend Raphael Warnock united at an outdoor, socially distanced rally in Conyers to discuss their joint fight for health, jobs, and justice as Republicans descended further into disarray with no message or vision for the future.
“This is a movement for health, jobs, and justice for the people,” Ossoff said. “That means every family in Georgia has the health care that we need. That means we invest in economic recovery where every community can participate equitably in good-paying jobs that pay a living wage for the people. That means that we pass a new Civil Rights Act to secure equal justice under the law for all of us, regardless of race and regardless of class. We can do all these things. We have to do all these things, but if they hold on to the Senate, they will stop progress in its tracks.”

As President Trump visits the state today, Republicans are in total disarray with Trump and Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue in a full out war with Republican leaders in the state, like Governor Brian Kemp, over Trump’s unfounded claims of voter fraud. Earlier this week, Republican election officials had to call for calm after Trump’s supporters were threatening the lives of election workers.
Meanwhile, Ossoff and Rev. Warnock are united in their laser focus on the issues that matter to Georgians and continue to lay out their positive vision for the future and highlight the stakes of the runoff election.
