Sen. Ossoff: “Think about the great problems that need to be solved, that we can solve if we work together.”

Savannah, Ga. — Today, Senator Jon Ossoff held a campaign event at the Ralph Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum in Savannah, GA, where he went on offense in front of an energized crowd. 

During the event, Ossoff highlighted his record of delivering for Coastal Georgia – including delivering historic infrastructure upgrades through the bipartisan infrastructure law, upgrading the West Broad Street YMCA, and providing resources for Meals on Wheels services for seniors – and called on Georgians to mobilize and coalesce around his campaign to address Georgia’s high maternal mortality rate and the shuttering of services for rural hospitals caused by Republicans’ refusal to expand and protect Medicaid.

“I think it’s important for us, as I said, to reground ourselves in what we can and must do when we work together, and what it means to have real, effective representation. Because Georgia deserves real effective representation,” said Senator Jon Ossoff.
