Ossoff blasts Sen. Perdue’s repeated intrusions into the privacy of women’s health care, renews commitment to confirm judges who vow to uphold Roe v. Wade
Atlanta, Ga. — Today, following the Supreme Court’s 5-4 decision to strike down Lousiana’s extreme anti-abortion law, Democratic Nominee for U.S. Senate in Georgia Jon Ossoff released the following statement:
“Senator David Perdue is an anti-Roe v. Wade extremist who believes he is entitled to make sensitive medical decisions that should be left to women in private consultation with their doctors,” said Ossoff. “As Georgia’s Senator I will defend the privacy of women’s health care, I will fight for federal resources to solve Georgia’s shocking maternal mortality crisis, and I will only vote to confirm judges who commit to upholding Roe v. Wade.”
