Atlanta, Ga. — Today, investigative journalist and Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Jon Ossoff launched his latest TV ad of the runoff, titled “Succeed,” highlighting Ossoff’s laser focus on beating COVID-19 and supporting economic recovery by working with the Biden Administration, while criticizing his opponent Sen. David Perdue’s (R-GA) partisan obsession with obstructing the incoming administration’s agenda during a national crisis.
The ad continues to highlight Ossoff’s commitment to empowering medical experts, passing economic relief for working families and small businesses, and an infrastructure and jobs program to jumpstart economic recovery.
“Look, the only way to beat this virus is to give our new president the chance to succeed. I’ll work with Joe Biden to empower the medical experts to rush economic relief for families and small businesses and invest in infrastructure to jumpstart our economy,” says Ossoff in the ad.
While Georgians elected Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on a message of uniting the country to fight this pandemic by trusting the expertise of doctors and scientists, Perdue has egregiously misled the public about the most significant public health disaster in generations and has refused to take responsibility for his words.
Perdue has made it clear that he should be in office to obstruct the Biden Administration.
Now, as the virus rampages out of control nationwide and families prepare to spend Thanksgiving and the holidays without much extended family, Perdue continues to avoid discussion of the pandemic and has no plan to combat it.

“Look, the only way to beat this virus is to give our new president the chance to succeed.
“I’ll work with Joe Biden to empower the medical experts to rush economic relief for families and small businesses and invest in infrastructure to jumpstart our economy.
“But David Perdue says he’ll do everything in his power to make sure Joe Biden fails, just like he tried to do with President Obama.
“I’m Jon Ossoff, and I approve this message because lives are on the line. Jobs and businesses are on the line, so let’s get this done.”
