NEW: Quinnipiac Poll Finds Ossoff Leading Sen. Perdue 51-45

Ossoff is surging in GA

Poll also highlights Ossoff’s favorability among likely voters at 46-36 percent as Perdue is underwater, 43-46 percent

Joe Biden takes a 51-44 percent lead over President Donald Trump

Atlanta, Ga. — A brand-new poll from Quinnipiac finds investigative journalist and Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Jon Ossoff ahead in Georgia’s U.S. Senate race, 51-45 percent against Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.), despite Republicans continuing to outspend Democrats in Georgia.

The new Quinnipiac poll finds Ossoff’s favorability with likely voters at 46-36, while Perdue’s favorability is underwater at 43-46, demonstrating that Perdue’s attempts to mislead voters by lying about his voting record on pre-existing conditions are failing.

Meanwhile, Ossoff’s anti-corruption message and plans to ensure every Georgian has affordable health care by cracking down on price gouging by insurance and drug companies are breaking through across the Peach State.

The Quinnipiac poll also finds former Vice President Joe Biden leading President Trump 51-44 percent in Georgia.

Today’s poll demonstrates that Republicans are on defense in Georgia as Mitch McConnell and his allies are spending more than $42 million to try and save David Perdue’s flailing campaign.
