Atlanta, GA — Over 50 Georgia Black Legislators are demandingMike Collins answer for his extensive ties to white nationalism.
“Mike Collins’ disturbing and longstanding pattern of bigotry and hate disqualifies him from representing Georgians in the U.S. Senate. More than two weeks since the CNN report, Collins has yet to apologize or answer whether he ever paid neo-Nazi propagandist David Alan Scheer, whose neo-Nazi and racist propaganda targeted the Black community; nor has Collins explained or apologized for his office’s documented ties to white supremacist leaders or efforts on behalf of a notorious Holocaust denier.
“Whether he’s housing a prominent white supremacist or rooting on men for making monkey sounds at a Black woman, it’s clear that Mike Collins is a man of poor character who lacks the integrity and judgement to represent Georgia in the United States Senate. We condemn the Georgia congressman and urge our Republican state legislators to join us in demanding answers for his extensive ties to white nationalists.”
