Atlanta, Ga. — Jon Ossoff for U.S. Senate Campaign Manager Ellen Foster released the following statement ahead of tomorrow’s U.S. Senate general election debate between Senator Jon Ossoff and scandal-ridden Republican Mike Collins:

“Senator Ossoff – backed by a broad coalition, including Republicans who have crossed party lines to support his re-election bid – will put his strong record of delivering for Georgians against Mike Collins’ abysmal record as a notorious bigot and Trump puppet who backed Trump’s reckless war and voted to make everything from gas, groceries, and health care more expensive.”

The first debate falls one day after bombshell news from The Daily Beast revealed that “At least two of Collins’ campaign-appointed leaders” “have ties to a group founded by a former Ku Klux Klan leader.” Collins has praised those leaders as his “grassroots army.”
