Ossoff, elected officials, and faith leaders held an in-person press conference to call on Georgians to register to vote and check their registration status by today’s deadline

Atlanta, Ga. — This morning, investigative journalist and Democratic U.S Senate nominee Jon Ossoff held an in-person press conference at the John Lewis Mural in downtown Atlanta to call on all Georgians to ensure they are registered to vote ahead of Monday’s voter registration deadline for the general election.

Ossoff was joined by State Legislative Black Caucus Vice Chair Sen. Tonya Anderson, Atlanta City Councilmember Marci Collier Overstreet, and Rev. Dr. William Flippin, Senior Pastor of Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church.

Ossoff called on Georgians to protect the legacy of Congressman Lewis and the decades of work of leaders like him by exercising their fundamental right to vote.  

Georgia voters have until today to register to vote or update their current registration information. Voters can register or update their information here online.
