Atlanta, Ga. — This morning, investigative journalist and Georgia Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Jon Ossoff rallied supporters across metro Atlanta with just over two weeks until the start of early in-person voting on October 12.

Ossoff joined the DeKalb Chapter of the Georgia Federation of Democratic Women, Georgia Legislative Black Caucus Chair State Representative Karen Bennett, and the DeKalb Democratic Women for a drive-through yard sign pick-up in Stone Mountain.

Ossoff rallied supporters and gave out yard signs to supporters who drove through. He was joined by DeKalb County Commissioner Lorraine Cochran-Johnson, State Representative Dar’shun Kendrick, State Representative Becky Evans, State Representative Billy Mitchell, and State Senator Tonya Anderson.

Ossoff then joined the Cobb Chapter of the Georgia Federation of Democratic Women, No Safe Seats, #AllForOssoff, They See Blue, Cobb Democratic Women, and the Liberal Moms of Roswell and Cobb in Austell for a socially distanced drive-in organizing event, featuring State Senator Jen Jordan, State Senator Dr. Michael ‘Doc’ Rhett, State Representative Mary Frances Williams, State Representative David Wilkerson, State Representative Erick Allen, and former U.S. Senate candidate Sarah Riggs Amico, who introduced Ossoff.

Ossoff spoke about the importance of making a plan to vote early, beginning October 12, and touched on the stakes of this election, from protecting Georgians’ access to health care to the need to fight the corruption in Washington and put working families and small businesses first.
