Biden says his administration is preparing to beat COVID-19 and get relief to Georgians
President-elect Biden: “Let me be clear, I need Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in the United States Senate to get this done.”

Atlanta, Ga. — Today, Democratic nominees for U.S. Senate Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock released a joint TV ad, titled “Asking You,” which features President-elect Joe Biden urging Georgians to elect Ossoff and Warnock to the U.S. Senate because he needs them to work with his administration to beat the pandemic and deliver COVID relief to working families and small businesses.
In the ad, which begins airing days after the start of early in-person voting that will continue through December 31, President-elect Biden lays out his plans for day one of his administration, including free testing and vaccination for all Americans and assistance for small businesses, and makes clear the stakes of the January 5 runoff election, saying “Let me be clear, I need Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in the United States Senate to get this done.”
President-elect Biden underlines the partisan obstruction promised by “folks in Congress threatening to do everything in their power to block our efforts,” like Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.).
Biden closes the ad by directly addressing Georgians, saying “We need you to get out there and vote for Jon Ossoff, as well as Raphael Warnock. We need them in the Senate.”
