Sen. Ossoff: “The Congressman under investigation for paying your tax dollars to his criminal staffer’s girlfriend for apparently no work, while the coach’s family got tens of millions of your tax dollars, courtesy of Governor Kemp, and then poured cash into the Governor’s PAC to prop up the coach’s campaign. They should have to come out and answer questions about all of it, right now.”
Atlanta, Ga. — Sen. Ossoff went on offense in front of an energized crowd of over 1,500 Georgians, driving home his opponents’ ethics scandals, while Republican chaos continues in the runoff election for U.S. Senate.
Sen. Ossoff, who has long criticized Trump as a symptom of corruption, spoke to how his Republican opponents in the U.S. Senate race, Mike Collins and Derek Dooley, are both fending off scandals.
Mike Collins is accused of allowing taxpayer dollars to pay his chief of staff’s girlfriend when she did no work for the office.
And a new report from last week found that Governor Kemp helped Derek Dooley’s family line up tens of millions of taxpayer dollars and then pushed over $100,000 of those profits into Kemp’s PAC to elect Dooley – creating an apparent pay-to-play scheme.
